Longboarding Accident: When Our Fans Go Hard!

We got an email awhile back from one of our customers who had been shredding on his longboard and took a bit of a spill. He was super bummed because he ripped his brand new ELEVATED shirt. We're super bummed too... But we're working it out with him and in the mean time we're grateful he gave us some fun content to post... and that he's okay of course. ELEVATED clothing partnered up with the Collegiate Skate Tour (CST) about a year and a half ago. This is our second year promoting with them, and we're super stoked on all of the progress Keegan and the crew have made, bringing together some amazing collegiate skate teams across the country to compete and hang out together at awesome events. Let Us Roam is an ongoing short film series supported by Leica Camera. This series features stories about photographers, artists, filmmakers and musicians inside of the skateboarding culture. For many, skateboarding is a lifestyle that breeds creativity, and often-times the doorway leading to various avenues of expression. This first four part film portrait series tells the stories from behind the lens and path that led these artists to photography.

We've all longed for the day the Hoverboard from Back to the Future 2 would be a reality. Today, that dream has come true... sort of. And by sort of I mean it has become a reality in a super clever commercial. HUVrTech have released this video claiming they’ve made a hoverboard that has more technology in it than a satellite. What we hear though is that this is a marketing campaign for a Nike sneakers that will have power laces like Marty McFly’s in ‘Back To The Future 2?. Bummer... That's only kind of cool. But what about invisible skateboards? Will these no longer have a chance at becoming the next big thing now that the Huvr board is around?
